Book Review: Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man

For those who don’t know, I have a podcast called Perfectly Imperfect: A Podcast on Mental Health for Folx of Color. In an effort to read, write, and podcast more, I’m hosting a summer book club on the podcast. Throughout this virtual book club, I’ll dissect books that address injustice and race.

The second book of the summer was Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man by Emmanuel Acho and I’m excited to share the many insights that I’ve gained from his book with you. The links below will direct you to the podcast episodes.

Next up, I’ll be reading Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West, by Dee Brown.

Thanks for listening! If you enjoyed this content, feel free to buy me a coffee to support the blog and podcast.
